About Gary
Gary Ruschman is a composer and musical artist creating expressive, accessible works for concert, media, and choral performance. His music has been featured by national organizations and performed internationally in both artistic and spiritual settings

Gary’s recordings span solo work and collaborative projects across multiple genres. His music is available on major streaming platforms, showcasing his work as both a performer and composer.

As member of NATS, Gary approaches voice instruction through historically informed performance practices, theatrical expression, and a focus on healthy vocal technique across diverse styles. His students have gone on to perform on the Hollywood round of American Idol and in Off-Broadway productions.
Recent and upcoming projects include a Valentine’s Day 2026 performance in the first U.S. presentation of Luminiscence, contributions to legendary animator Phil Tippett’s MAD GOD soundtrack, new pop/opera collaborations with Mixed Precipitation, and Loyce Houlton’s groundbreaking production of Carmina Burana with Minnesota Dance Theater and Twin Cities Ballet under the direction of Lise Houlton
